The Effectiveness for NAD for Chronic Fatigue

NAD for chronic fatigue can be a beneficial treatment for many people. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is a molecule that is found in every cell within our videos. It is the combustion chemical that converts nutrients absorbed by the cells into energy. This combustion process is essential in all different bodily systems to help promote healthy cellular growth, repair cellular damage, maintain muscle tone and function, and so much more. However, when there are low levels of NAD, it can lead to fatigue because we do not feel energized.

What Is Chronic Fatigue?

Chronic fatigue is the result of dysfunctional mitochondria. The mitochondria are like tiny “power plants” at the cellular level within the body. These power plants are powered by NAD to produce energy.

To better understand chronic fatigue, think of mitochondria in your cells as the LED lights in your television. If a few of the LED lights burn out, it will not affect the TV’s display. However, if a large number of the LED lights burn out, you will notice black patches on the TV’s display. When the mitochondria are dysfunctional, they do not produce sufficient energy. It’s like a light bulb that is dimmed to its lowest settings. So, the energy output is not sufficient and causes chronic fatigue.

Additionally, mitochondria energy production is used by the lungs, brain, heart, muscles, and other vital organs and tissues within the body. With chronic fatigue, all of the body’s organs and tissues are not getting the energy they need. As such, you can constantly feel tired and quickly worn out. For example, if you walk up a flight of stairs and have problems breathing and need to sit down, you may have chronic fatigue. Even simple tasks of sitting and standing can seem challenging for someone with chronic fatigue.

Signs and Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue

Some of the more common signs and symptoms of chronic fatigue include:

  • Constantly tired
  • Body aches and pains
  • Difficulties concentrating
  • Sore lymph nodes
  • Persistent sore throat
  • Difficulties recalling events, places, names
  • Problems with your short-term and long-term memories
  • Sleeping longer
  • Waking up and still feeling tired
  • Joint pain
  • Easily worn out after simple activities
  • Periods of fatigue becoming longer or more frequent

You will want to consult with your healthcare provider if you notice at least four of these symptoms for a proper diagnosis of chronic fatigue. Furthermore, the symptoms would need to be present for a minimum of six months or longer.

Why Do I Need NAD Therapy?

When we are born, the body produces a set amount of NAD. Once the stores of NAD are depleted, it is gone and is not replaced naturally. With people living longer lives, it only makes sense that NAD stores would eventually run low and need replenishment.

Aging is the body’s process where cells begin to degrade and are not as responsive or elastic as they once were. As a result, both physical and mental abilities also decline, increasing the risk of illness and chronic conditions. If you have chronic fatigue, you are already at a disadvantage. Your mitochondria “power plants” are not keeping up with the energy you need. As a result, your NAD stores are being depleted much faster because your body has to work much harder to produce what energy it can.

Fortunately, NAD stores can be replaced with NAD therapy. We also get a small amount of NAD from certain foods, such as green vegetables, dairy products, and yeast. However, the trace amounts in our diets is nowhere sufficient to replace NAD stores from aging or chronic fatigue.

How Is NAD Therapy Performed?

NAD therapy is a therapy that is administered intravenously for direct delivery into the bloodstream. With the foods we eat or nutritional supplements, they must first pass through the digestive system. By the time the NAD can be absorbed from our foods, there is only a trace amount left over.

With NAD IV therapy, the cells fully absorb the NAD since the digestive system is bypassed. Another benefit of NAD IV therapy is the saline solution that delivers the NAD to the bloodstream also helps flush out toxins and increases hydration.

How Long Before I Notice a Difference?

Most people report changes in energy levels after their first NAD therapy session. Since NAD is being absorbed directly at the cellular level, it helps increase energy production even when you suffer from chronic fatigue.

Other noticeable changes post-therapy include:

  • Reduced pain
  • Increased metabolism
  • Improved memory and concentration
  • Reduced frequency and duration of fatigue periods
  • Waking and feeling well-rested
  • Improved overall health
