
Biography
Samantha McKinnon is a dual-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and family nurse practitioner (FNP) with 14 years of nursing experience caring for patients of all ages. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at The University of Texas and her post-master’s psychiatric mental health certification at Johns Hopkins University.
Samantha is dedicated to understanding each patient’s story, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and heard. She believes in a holistic and collaborative approach, working alongside her patients to create personalized plans for long-term mental wellness with an emphasis on the whole person. Committed to providing the best care possible to her patients, Samantha also pursues the latest advancements in treatments and health technology through ongoing education.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys traveling with her husband and their two children, exploring new restaurants, spending lazy days at the beach, and diving into a good book.
