Biography
Shaheena Gazipur is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with 10 years of experience in mental health care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, starting off as a case manager and transitioning into nursing. Shaheena received her Master of Science in Nursing degree and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license from Western University of Health Sciences Pomona.
Shaheena considers mental health as a fundamental pillar of overall well-being and strives to be an advocate for reducing any negative stigma. She believes in providing holistic and compassionate care that honors each individual’s unique experiences and challenges. Shaheena’s goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment to work alongside with her patients, while keeping current with emerging technologies and evidence-based practices to best serve her patients.
In her free time, Shaheena enjoys the burn in pilates class and planning her next vacation.
