Biography

Joseph Aguirre is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of diverse clinical experience. He was shaped by his service as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was selected to serve in a mentorship role at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, where he worked to support fellow service members who had sustained emotional and physical wounds in overseas combat.

Post military service, he has worked in Psychiatric Mental Health settings across Orange and Los Angeles Counties up to the present day. A graduate of West Coast University in Anaheim, California, Joseph earned his advanced nursing practice degree with a focus on psychiatric care. He is experienced in treating major depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. Joseph leverages the latest evidence-based information to guide his treatment recommendations, ensuring care that is tailored to each patient while also grounded in safety and efficacy.

In his spare time, Joseph is an avid outdoorsman and finds peace and rejuvenation in nature. Joseph values blending strength and empathy to support individually paced mental health recovery. His expertise spans a wide range of psychiatric needs, and he is driven by a mission to heal and uplift those he serves.
