Biography
Asking for help is not easy, but it is a powerful step in the right direction. Alexandria believes that acknowledging an issue is a strength in itself, and she is dedicated to walking alongside clients in creating progress that supports their healing journey. Whether it’s childhood trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, or the daily stressors of life, Alexandria provides a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to process, grow, and learn more about themselves.
Alexandria is a BIPOC clinician who is EMDR-trained and CAMS-trained, with experience in dual diagnosis treatment and higher levels of care, including intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), and residential treatment. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University in 2019 and her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2021.
As an eclectic therapist, Alexandria integrates evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), along with holistic modalities, to best support each client’s unique needs. She has worked with a wide range of populations — from teens to older adults — and is especially passionate about helping clients navigate identity formation, mood disorders, self-esteem, and substance use recovery.
When Alexandria is not in the office, she enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and watching the latest movies.
